Fidel Anayo Ozugha

About the Creator

Fidel Anayochukwu Ozugha (FAO), born April 4, 1967, is a renowned poet, playwright, activist, journalist, and author of "Living Without Laughter (LWL)." He is the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of The NationGuardNews online newspaper, based in Lagos, and the Managing Director of NationGuardTV. FAO attended Hill Top Primary School, Abagana (1973-79), and Ozara-Akukwa Technical College (GTC), Umuchu (1979-84), graduating as Senior Prefect. From 1988 to 1993, he studied Mass Communication at the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, and served the nation at Borno Radio and Television (BRTV, 1993-94) during his NYSC. He has worked in several media and advertising firms—such as The NewOutLook Newspaper, Enugu, and Eric Bertha Ltd, Lagos. Fidel is happily married to his heartthrob, Joy Tonia Amaka Ozugha, and they are blessed with three wonderful children: Chisom, Chidiogo, and Somtochukwu.
